Ithikkara Komban” – A Unique Storyline Featuring an Elephant in the Lead!

Stories featuring animals, where animals play central roles, have always captivated audiences and often turned into major box office successes, especially among children. These heartwarming animal-centric stories transcend language barriers and win hearts across cultures. In this exciting line-up, a new Malayalam movie titled “Ithikkara Komban” is being made and is soon set for release in Tamil as well.

In “Ithikkara Komban,” an elephant named Sadhu takes the spotlight, playing the lead role. The scenes involving the elephant are thoughtfully crafted to captivate children and family audiences. The film is jointly produced by Rajan Pappan and Sreela Vadakara under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Cine Productions.

The movie features popular Malayalam actors like Dini Tom, Tony, Kareena Kurup, Kesu, Sumeesh, and Sreeja in prominent roles. Adding an extra dimension, Tamil actor Dakshan Vijay makes his Malayalam debut, portraying the menacing character of Thoothukudi Selvam. His stunning performance, combined with intense fight sequences, leaves a strong impact on the audience.

The story, screenplay, and direction are handled by K. Raju, who previously worked as an assistant director with the renowned filmmaker Krishnaswamy. “Ithikkara Komban” marks K. Raju’s directorial debut. The film’s music is composed by Pineesh Balakrishnan and Seenu Wayanad, while cinematography is done by V.K. Pradeep, who has beautifully captured the majestic elephant scenes.
